LEDs are off when charging Quest 3 with Elite strap - is it normal after latest updates?

I had a few months break from VR. Lately I started using my Quest 3 again and after all updates, I noticed that now LEDs on Quest 3 and Elite strap stay off when charging. Is this a new bug or stupid...

Lucky you, you weren't chosen by Meta to experience this bug! However, in the past both LEDs on Quest and the Elite Strap were on during charge, not only the one in headset.

I've had my headset and Elite strap for 5 months and don't recall the Elite battery LED ever staying on for more that 5 seconds.
