Locked status / unresponsive meta 3

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue with my Meta Quest 3 that I haven’t been able to resolve. When I power it on, the Meta logo appears and I can hear the startup sounds and see the volume indicator, but the screen remains completely black afterward — no menus or visuals appear.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Restarted the headset multiple times
  • Performed a software update through the boot/recovery menu
  • Attempted an update/repair via the boot menu options
  • Completed a full factory reset

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue. In the boot menu, I also noticed that the device status is listed as “Locked.” I suspect this might be the root cause preventing the headset from functioning normally or pairing with the Meta app.

Could someone from Meta Support please advise on how to unlock the device or restore it to working condition?
