Loss of Connection with Cadence Sensor

The only reason I use my Meta Quest 2 is for VR Biking. The latest software update caused the signal to my cadence sensor to drop out about every ten seconds. I tried to contact support, and the system says my serial number isn't valid after I verified it multiple times. It's not a refurbished headset...I bought it directly from the Meta Store. Because of this, I cannot contact tech support, meaning I now just have an expensive paperweight.
I am experiencing multiple issues with my Meta Quest 2. First, my Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) cadence sensor, which has worked reliably for two years, now intermittently loses connection despite a fresh battery, no nearby interfering devices, and the headset being on a 5 GHz network. Second, when I enter the correct serial number as requested, the system reports that the device does not exist, preventing me from accessing official support. I have verified the serial number multiple times and can provide proof of purchase. I need assistance in manually verifying my device and resolving the BLE connectivity issue.
I have re-started the router, the modem, the app, the headset, re-paired the device, and verified that I have the latest software version. None of this is working.

  • Hi HarbardGrimnir 🙂

The system probably asked for the serial number of the box, which is a bit different from the headset serial number.

But you can contact support directly via email, chat or WhatsApp here:
