Do you have the MetaHorizon app set up on your phone? You can use it to generate a one-time emergency key for 2fa. When I opened the app on my phone and navigated to the "security and password" settings it sent a security code to my email address, but I didn't need to use the authenticator app (or send an SMS code) to access these settings. After that, I had the option to turn off authenticator, turn off SMS code, or generate an emergency code. Possibly you could also access these settings on a PC by logging into Meta Accounts Center on the web. If that doesn't work, try this Meta support link (click "Can't log in to Meta account" then click "This did not solve my issue" then click "Verify with another method" then type in your headset serial number" and keep following the prompts. If it sends you to a chatbot, tell it "I want to talk to a human". Good luck.
