Meta not honoring warranty

I have the extended warranty on the Meta Quest 3, and have had nothing but problems trying to get them to replace a controller through the warranty program.  The site shows my coverage is valid through the end of the year, yet their support will not honor it.  Instead they offer a refurbished controller...  What did the warranty cover then...  I had previously had the controller replaced.

It seems like fraud not to honor it.

Has anybody else had this experience?

    They are offering you a refurbished controller. That is a valid warranty option, so what is the problem? In the past, I was told I would get a refurbished Rift S as a replacement headset, but what they sent me was actually brand new.

      With the extended warranty active I would not expect to pay $50 for a refurbished one with a 3 month warranty.  The warranty confidence that meta will honor their commitment is gone

        You need to read the fine print on your extended warranty carefully to see what options are offered. Your expectations are not relevant, I'm afraid. Most warranties include refurbishment as an option, that is the unfortunate reality.
