Meta Quest 3 chat settings

We understand you are encountering issues when trying to make group calls. To resolve this, please make sure the steps below are followed:

 

 To make calls on Meta Quest:

1. Press Meta button or Oculus button on your right Touch controller to open the universal menu.
2. Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
3. Select the People app.
4. Select Start a call, then type or select someone's name or username.
5. Select Call.

You can also call a person or a group by visiting their profile and selecting Start a call, or by selecting Call next to their name. As group members join the call, their profile picture will appear in the Group call panel. Up to eight people can join a group call.

Note: If you're aged 10-12 years old (age may vary by region) with a Meta account that's managed by your parent or guardian, your parent must add someone as an approved contact before you can call them. You can only participate in one-to-one calls.
