Hey friends! We understand how pixels can get in the way of you enjoying the wonderful world of VR and all it has to offer. We are happy to assist each one of you with this issue. So that we can get a better understanding of what you all are experiencing, can you show us a picture of the issue while the headset is turned on? To take a picture of what you see on the headset's internal display:
- Select a background in which the spot is most visible.
- Place your headset on a flat, stable surface.
- Cover the proximity sensor, located between the lenses, so that the display remains illuminated. As you will likely want both hands for taking your picture, use a piece of paper and/or tape to block the sensor.
- Keep the lenses pointed away from external light sources, and do not use a flash.
- The display backlight will provide sufficient illumination for the picture, and external light will only create glare off the lenses.
- Get your camera as close to the lens as possible without actually touching the lens, so that you are taking a picture through the lens, not of the lens.
- If the spot is very small or difficult to see in the picture, please circle the area in the picture where the spot is located to assist us in identifying the problem.
Once we review the issue more thoroughly, we will get back to you with further troubleshooting or options available to get this taken care of for you. Talk soon!
