Meta Quest 3 Only Charging on Power Off

I've had my Meta Quest 3 for three days. On the first day, after the initial setup and update, a message appeared indicating moisture in the USB port. There was absolutely no contact with liquids. From then on, every time I tried to charge it, it gave an error until it displayed an error message saying it would disable USB-C. I haven't been able to reactivate it since. The only way I can charge it is by forcing a power-off using the Meta and volume down button combination. What can I do?

I only ever connect the charging cable when the headset is fully powered off. If you get the error message, either your cable is faulty/incompatible, or the USB port has a problem.

If you can't get the issue resolved quickly, I would return the headset and request a refund, then buy a new headset again. If you go through Meta's warranty process, it will take weeks, and Meta will only give you a refurbished headset in return.
