META QUEST 3 SHOWS A MESSAGE SOMETHING WENT WRONG, UNABLE TO JOIN

Happening on my Quest 3 as well. Was working earlier, but in the afternoon, it stopped connecting to the PC via Link. Tried repairing Meta Horizons on PC, rebooted both devices, tried factory resetting the Quest 3, and set it up again. Still not working.

I get the same on every restart but it all works fine, it may just be the WiFi connection is being slow on connection 

Thank goodness i also have been driving round this twist trying to fix this issue. Got nowhere. My housemate always gets her updatesbefore me and she hardly uses the set, im on it almost 24 u, but she asked me to helpmsort it out as shehadnt been onnformonths and lo version 85; i thoguht a couple of people were just winding us up on facebook about v85; however cant say its any better, they took away the navigator. I quite like it now i adapted , but hey ho. Also my housemates set is soooo much clearer throygh pass through and more vibrantand crisp colours, before 85 even, and my brothers 2 sets have been wayyy worse than mine,   why are we being passed inferior sets, i bought all three sets for them, so theyr could join me, but meh the dont use it as much as me, had to return my bros first one cos he keot having problems , i tought he was just beingna noob and got him to bringit here, wow it was sluggish as well as poirer quality lenses   so we sent it back for a replacement, its just as bad, i reckon the kist cleaned the set factory reset it put it in a new dbox andresent it back, . Swings and roundabouts, love the quest so  uch sibce i first saw it by just almost year n half ago in electricaal retal store, so i went home andread up on it, thenbought them fromamazon.  its an amazing piece of kit, i hope it improves and doesnt bottom out as all the negative presses seem to suggest, i cannot return to flatscreen games ever again, ditch all consoles ad onky kept the pc as it was gifted so i could useit on pcvr, all bonuses,

I also encountered this issue on my Quest 3. The message ‘Something went wrong, unable to join’ kept popping up, and at first I didn't know what to do. Usually, restarting the headset or reconnecting to Wi-Fi helps, and sometimes after updating the software, it stops being an issue altogether.

I was having this error message as well.  Mine was related to my slow internet speed.  After I replaced the internet modem,  my download speed increased 3 times.  And now I don't get the "something went wrong" error message. 

I've been getting this on my Quest 2 since it updated to v83.

I assume it has to do with the store or Horizon Worlds. I seldom use the store and Horizon never.

I just ignore it as it doesn't seem to affect anything that I do on my headset.

Yeah , don't worry about it. I was getting it too sometimes. It's just the headset opening the store before the wifi actually connects on start up. After a second or two the wifi connects and the message disappears. Coincidentally I upgraded to a WiFi6 router this morning and I'm not getting the message now. Maybe it's just connecting a little bit faster.
