Meta quest 3 wont turn on, wont charge.

My meta quest is still under warranty. It said it needed a update and then turned off. It never turned back on. It will not charge. It will not do anything. No lights pop on when I try to charge it. Nothing happens when trying to reboot it. Hard rebooting does nothing. Anyone have any other ideas??

    We saw your post about your Quest 3 not charging and thought we'd offer our assistance! 

     

    Thanks for letting us know what troubleshooting you've completed. This is a big help! Here are a few additional checks that can help when your headset isn't charging/doesn't turn on:

     

    1. Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect battery charging or consume power (such as external battery packs, external fans, etc.)
    2. Attempt to charge the headset for 2 hours.
      • When in use, your headset will consume power faster than it can charge. The headset must be left powered off or in a sleep state during charging.
      • Computer USB ports will not provide sufficient power to charge the Quest 3, resulting in a very slow charge or failure to charge at all. The headset must be connected to a wall outlet using the provided power adapter
    3. Try charging the headset with another power adaptor
    4. If using a facial interface accessory, try charging the headset again without the facial interface accessory. Some facial interfaces may block the proximity sensor which can impact the power of the headset.
    5. If using the Elite Strap with Battery or any third-party accessories. Disconnect the Elite Strap with Battery or any third-party accessories and try charging the headset again.
    6. Try charging from a different source (another wall outlet)
