Let me give you a faster solution MoFam.1981 I had this happen. Unfortunately that bar is structurally very weak and prone to breaking. Here are two options. When it happened to me, I anchored the strap between the faceplate and the device. Pop off the the faceplate and put the end of the strap between the device and the face plate and push them together. But....that is only temporary. The best solution is to buy a Halo style headstrap that does away with the need for the anchor bar, and honestly is far more comfortable. You can get them quite cheaply too. I've been using mine and it really improves the experience.
