Meta quest 3s mic

So within the last few months my mic on my meta quest 3s went out so I found out they have a experimental option for a external mic, so I got a headset and a adapter to make it into a usb-c and i plug it in. And the good news is that it works, I have a working mic now. Butttt it won't play the audio threw the headphones. So I have a mic but no sound. All the things ive found on it is for quest link, which im not doing. Im doing stand alone. Just wondering if there's anyway I can use the external mic and still have sound.

    We completely understand that audio is an integral part of great gameplay, therefore, let's get this sorted for you as soon as possible. 

     

    You've mentioned that you got a headset and adapter to make it into a USB-C. Thank you for being proactive in doing this. However, there are certain USB-C headphones and adapters that have been tried and tested and shown to work with Meta Quest 3S. If yours isn't on the list, it is a possibility that it isn't compatible. The list can be found here.
