Meta Quest 3s popping sounds in speakers

This is the third Meta Quest 3s that I have, after returning, the last year, 2 of them because the speakers make popping/crackling sound with strong bass sounds. The problem is the speaker, it doesn`t happens with all of the Meta Quest 3 that I test, but it happen with all the Meta Quest 3s that I have. The problem is perfectly audible with Ballerina Trailer in YouTube, but you can ear it in any other game with strong bass sounds. I hoped the problem was solved after a year but it`s still there. The only solution is to use headphones until Meta assest the problem. Rebooting, factory reseting, or any other solutions of this kind doesn`t work.

  • My Quest 3s also has the same issue. It's particularly noticeable during the drum beats in the first half of the live version of Hotel California, and even when opening the game menu in Asgard's Wrath 2, the sound effect has this problem. I've searched extensively online but haven't found a solution.

  • That's very unfortunate indeed. I've just had the one Quest 3s and there are no audio issues. s846799379 I'm near the end of playing Asgard's Wrath 2 right now and it's perfect. I suppose you've tried a factory reset and updating the devices using the Meta Software update tool on the pc. If you've tried everything you should look into getting a replacement headset.
