MQ3 wont charge nor turn on.

so the other day i got home from work and went to jump on my quest 3. I saw a notification that the USBC port got something in it and the Q3 disabled the port. so i let it dry to be safe, cleaned it out, and plugged it in the next day. well nothing happened. now its dead and cant charge and i dont know what to do. tired different cords, outlets, the works and nothing. Any ideas?

  • Hi jbaughn 🙂

If the headset doesn't turn on - or charge - because the battery is deeply drained, you can try blip charging....maybe you can bring it back to life. Read the first comment.

But if the usb port is actually disabled, this won't work.....obviously😅

If you search, you'll find a lost posts about the - mostly false - debris/liquid error.

You say, you have a Quest 3, so you might be able to work around the usb port by using a charging dock, no guaratee it'll work though.                                                                                                  Means, you have to invest money without knowing it will help you in any way.🤷‍♀️

Yea they are thinking i might have to send it in and replace it. So far thats the easiest option at the moment. But i know someone with a charging station so ill try that first thank you
