Shadow4x4 it's meta's sh!t software that's been causing these water debris flags for months and they can't be arsed to fix it. Sadly, this is not a fix, but you may get around the 'not charging' by getting a charging dock for the headset. Make sure it has the 3 charging plungers that contact the pads on the underside of the heaset. Not guaranteed, but it bypasses the USB port.
