My controller's deadzone won't save!

Okay, so every time I change my deadzone, it will act normally at first, but when I turn it off, my stick drift is still there! It's like I never did it! But when I enter settings, it says it is still set up. I am not sure if it is just a system update bug or a problem with my headset! I really need help with this because it has been occurring for like a long time.
