My controllers suck

Both of my controllers on my brand new quest 3s aren’t showing the white line to click on games and they won’t show up at all and when I go on games where I have to use the left joy stick to move I always move backwards or to the right but I don’t have stick drift because I just got the headset for Christmas.

    Well, there's a setting under Accessibility->Vision->"Aiming line" that turns the laser pointers on or off.

    Is the controller movement messed up in standalone games or PCVR games?
