My quest 3s won’t charge or turn on

Im not sure why but my quest 3s isn’t charging or turning on I’ve tried lots of things like holding the power in button for 30 seconds and switch chargers multiple times. I am a frequent user of my vr and have long sessions and dont take care of it at first I thought it was just that it needed a break but then I did some research and it’s leading to it being a hardware issue as everything suggesting to fix it from the internet hasn’t worked. I am wondering what I myself can do to fix this issue.

    We came across your post and would love to lend a hand to get you back into the Metaverse with us.

     

    If your headset isn't charging, try the following steps to see if they help:

    1. Make sure you are using the provided power adapter to charge your headset. (Note: Apple product chargers will not work with the Quest 3S)
    2. Does you headset feel warm to the touch? If so, you may not have noticed the Stopped charging notification please disconnect your headset and allow it to cool before trying again.
    3. Remove and unsupported 3rd party accessories that may affect battery charging or consume power. (such as external battery packs, external fans, etc.)  
    4. Attempt to charge for 2 hours. 
    • When used, Quest 3S will consume power faster than it can charge. The headset must be left powered off or in a sleep state during charging.
    • Computer USB ports will not provide sufficient power to charge the Quest 3S, resulting in a very slow charge or failure to charge at all. The headset must be connected to a wall outlet using the provided power adapter

           5. Try charging from another source (another wall outlet), preferably on another circuit.

    • If using a splitter, power bar, or extension cord try removing it and plug directly into the wall outlet.

           6. See if the headset will load the boot screen and then exit out:

    • Hold the power and volume (-) buttons on the headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads
    • Exit and reboot the headset
