Need help

My left controller wouldn’t work it was flashing & flashing. My right one was connected & working. So my son was looking stuff up came across factory reset, he did that now the headset is like new but both controllers won’t pair, unfortunately when he did that it disappeared from my app so I’m now not able to set it up on my phone, both controllers have new batteries but won’t pair to the headset that was factory reset. Please help.! I’ve tried almost every thing that has popped up on here to try and repair nothing works.

    it disappeared from my app

Take the batteries out of the controllers, then go through the setup process again. In the phone app, tap the hamburger menu (|||), select "Devices", then click the blue "Add device" button. When it gets to the "pull tabs out of controllers" part, simply put the batteries in. If it appears to get stuck on that screen, wait 10 minutes and the screen will time out, and you should be able to proceed. However, if one of the controllers is broken, you won't be able to set up the headset, so you'll need to get the bad controller fixed or replaced.
