New child account

Hi

apologies if this has been asked before but struggling to find a good answer… new meta quest 3s bought for my 10 year old. I have set up a child account in my family account. Ideally I don’t want him switching to my adult account but it seems the only way to stop this is by using the pin?  Also when the meta quest boots up it requires the pin and always logs into the parent account?

so really is the only way to fix this

  1. Set up pin on adult account
  2. Every time he wants to play someone has to power it on and put in the pin, then switch to the child account 

if this is the case then it seems to be a flawed setup? What am I missing?
