I sent my friend a referral link which she used when she purchased Quests for herself and her son. So far neither of us have received the $30 store credit. How long does it take to show? It’s been about 2 weeks.

Hey there! I thought I'd put some updated information in this thread. If the referral process is followed exactly according to THIS, then the referral credit should show up for both of you within 7 days of the new user activating their headset. If you don't see the credit after 7 days, then MetaStoreHelp will be happy to help you get your credit. Just PM them here or click HERE to submit a support ticket.   My brother send me a referral link, i buy a Quest 2 in a local store.
  Then i use his link and it ask me to create my Oculus account etc.
  
  When i go to my profil on this site, i see my Quest 2, and when i try to use my brother link again, it said i alreay use a referral link to this account.
  
  But i still dont get any credit on my store, it's been 3 days now.

  Hello Acculus support so I gave my friend the referral link so he could get the $30 and so could I when I did that I did not get the $30 but my friend did and was wondering if you could help me on why I did not get the $30

  It says referral accepted but I still haven't gotten the store credit, it's has been about a month and still nothing.

I just spent 30 minutes with customer service on this topic. I used a referral promotion before New Years, which allowed for $60 store credit for myself and the referral. Even though he was to receive the money right after activation, that did not happen. According to customer service, even though it was purchased prior to New Years, because the account was ACTIVATED after Dec 31, the credit was not applied and they had to do it manually. Additionally, in 30 days I will have to reach out to customer service again so they can manually credit my account. Ironically, the email for the promotion came to me Dec 27th so there would be no possible way to even get the Oculus in time for me to activate it prior to Dec 31.

As frustrating as this is, I hope this information is helpful to others. Good luck.

Same issue. Sent to four friends only got credit for one. That is a loss of 180 between all of us. Very upsetting. Not cool that they allow u to give your link then not give you what they say. 😞

  Hi there, mtodd50! You certainly shouldn't have to continue without your earned store credits, so we'd love to check into this issue for you! To begin with, let's make sure that both yours and your friends' accounts are eligible for the referral process. Please confirm whether the following points apply when you get a chance:
  
  The receiver of the referral link must not already own a Quest 1, Quest 2, Quest Pro, or Quest 3 headset.
  
  The sender of the referral link must be an owner of either the Quest 2 headset, the Quest Pro headset, or the Quest 3 headset.
  
  Both accounts must be in a Meta Quest supported country.
  
  The referral code must be applied prior to setting up the Quest 3 headset.
  
  The referral recipient must be registering a new Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 or Quest Pro (the device must be new, not refurbished, and not previously registered to another account.)
  
  It's also important to note that the referral credit may take up to seven days after the headset activation date to be applied to your account. Let us know if this timeframe has passed!

    Hi there, bought a new Quest 3 and registered a new account with a referral link from a friend so we get the $30. My friend got the $30 as referral sender but my account balance is still empty. I was wondering if you could help me on why I did not get the $30.

I’ve got the same problem. Back in December my buddy got his for Christmas and the $60 referral didn't work. We messed up thinking you do the referral after. Got in with support but they only gave the $30 to each of us. Had my cousin buy one after he tried mine and we followed the instructions but this one also didn’t. I just checked with him a moment ago to see if he’s seeing a credit yet (its been 3 weeks).

The referrals seem broken.

    Same issue for me. Friend sent me the $60 promo referral, I clicked on it and created my account. Purchased the headset tonight and tried to logged in with this same facebook/account and got no credit. I reached out to customer support but despite giving them, my username email, friends username, screenshot of my receipt, screenshot of the text with link my friend sent to me earlier, and my headset Serial number, and a screenshot of my referral page but they weren't able to help me. They also asked for my a screenshot of my friends phone referral page which I am not able to get because my friend isn't available right now. Disappointing first impression as I wait to hopefully get the credit that persuaded me to buy the system.

    I honestly think THATS WHATS going to happen and I definitely will keep you updated and we may have to start searching to see how many people they do this too and trick you into getting your friends to buy their products it may be something we can do about this cause it’s unacceptable

i had the same problem. on july 10th 2022 i accepted my friend’s referral code and it said i accepted, but 27 days later, no credit.

  YEA ITS STARTING TO FEEL LIKE NOBODY GETS THERES I SPOKE WITH THEM ABOUT IT THEY ASKED FOR INFORMATION THAN ONCE I GAVE THEM THE INFO THEY CAME BACK ASKING FOR ADDITIONAL INFO I JUST GAVE UP BUT I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A SCAM CAUSE IT KEEPS HAPPENING TO PEOPLE
