non-adjustable MR play area

Hello.
I've been disappointed since the V77 update, which now prevents me from adjusting the MR zone (moving walls to reduce my play area). The requirement to occupy and scan an entire room (when it's not very large) for those who don't have a dedicated room at home is disruptive for families who would like to be able to peacefully pursue these activities in the home without having a Meta player blocking an entire living room... Are you also disappointed?
