After I factory reset my headset then the headset asked me to pair both my controllers but the problem is I only have one working controller which is the left one. My right one has the ring snapped off. (I'm on quest 2) So now since it's asking me to pair both controller and I only have one I can't get past this step and I'm stuck on the pairing process when you first turn on the headset after a factory reset

Do you have a friend with a Quest 2? If so, borrow the right controller for the set up.
My right one has the ring snapped off.
Controllers can be repaired. If you feel confident, you can do that yourself.... there are lots of youtube videos and guides how to repair Quest 2 controllers.
If not, you can also use a repair services like "Fix my Oculus" - if you are in the US - to get your controller fixed. In other countries just google for VR headset repair service.
You can also buy a refurbished controller.
