Occulus 3 Cooling Fan

So my son's 512 GB Oculus 3 is giving an error that says the cooling fan on your device is not functioning properly. Has anybody else had this issue? We have had the device not even a week.

    Hey everyone! Just wanted to hop in here and provide some insight. As andy.pacey mentioned, this is not something normal that should be happening. 

    If you see this consistently pop up, I would highly suggest reaching out to the support team (or wherever it was purchased from) to try and get a different headset.

    i have the same issue straight out of the box on a 128gb Model.

    Bought from Amazon just in case and glad i did.

    i can find NOTHING online about it though?

      This isn’t normal guys, i returned mine to Amazon and bought one from Smyths which works fine.

      Yeah. Well I can't do that because mine started doing this. Like almost within days. Within the warranty going out and they said there's nothing they can do for me. Been doing this for a while. Bought over 10 oculuses before. With the support they've given me for this issue. After spending that much on the quest three, I swear this has gotten me wanting to swear off all meta products. this is insane

    Got this alert once, but it sounded like the cooling fan was on and functioning.. so I dont know.. Reached out to Meta support and they said to process it as a Warranty.. but I dont want to be without the headset for 1-2 weeks while they receive, then ship a new one

    I am experiencing the same issue, Straight out of the box, restart doesn't fix the error either. Did anyone get an idea on the wait times for the replacement from Meta?
