Oculus Account

I would like to transition my old Oculus account to a Meta account. Originally played some with an Oculus Rift, but ity stopped working some time ago. Now I have bought the Meta Quest 3, but Im unable to login to my old account. Ive seen some messages on forums while troubleshooting that i was supposed to upgrade last year, but I never received such a message on the emailaccount linked to said Oculus account.

Either my old account should be made available again, or the purchased games and software should be made accesible on a new account.

    LTmike93​  All of the old Oculus accounts were deleted in March last year and probably the records of games on the accounts too. You could try contacting support if you have images of your old account details/games or proof of game purchases.

    Hi there,

     

    Thanks for posting into our forum, we see you're having issues with your previous Oculus account not being migrated to a Meta Quest account. Regarding your old Oculus account, at this stage if the migration hasn't been completed then the account will have been deleted and we'd have no way of restoring this but not all hope is lost!

     

    Towards the end of the migration period, you would have received an email to the email address associated with your old account titled something along the lines "Important changes regarding your Oculus account" sent from Meta Quest and in this email you'll find a coupon that can be used to restore your previous app and in-app purchases to your new Meta account. This email would've been sent sometime around the start of 2024.

     

    We'd recommend going back through the email associated with your old Oculus account and locating this email and you'll be able to get everything restored!
