Oculus PC App Installation Stops Near Completion [917/967 MB Error]: "Check the Connection"

Hello,

I am having persistent issues installing the Oculus PC Application on my desktop to use Link/Air Link with my Meta Quest 3. The download process consistently fails near completion.

Failure Point: The download freezes when it is almost finished, typically around 917 MB out of 967 MB (or a similar final percentage). Error Message: I receive the error prompt: "Check the connection. There was an error while the installation, Check your connection and try to run again the Oculus installation program..."

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success: I disabled VPNs and all antivirus software. I checked and confirmed that Windows Firewall is not blocking the installation. I restarted both my computer and router/modem. I attempted to clear the download cache using CMD commands (as suggested in community posts). I ran the installer as Administrator.

None of these steps have resolved the issue. Can you please provide any further solutions, or confirm if this is a known server/software bug that is currently being addressed?
