Oculus Quest 2 headset not charging and wont turn on

I did all the suggestions my online friends gave and by watching youtube videos and lastly I did try to get into boot menu by holding down power and volume down button at the same time but, the boot menu did not show up on the VR headset - After doing that, my VR headset will not turn on and no LED light on when plugged into charger and not charging. Please help! I got this quest 2 last year 2023 Christmas gift but been used.

  • Did you ever get a solution to this? My daughter's Meta quest 2 is doing the same thing and I can't find a fix anywhere. She has had it since Christmas too

  • Did you ever get a solution to this? My daughter's Meta quest 2 is doing the same thing and I can't find a fix anywhere. She has had it since Christmas too

        Awesome I got a ticket in as well. I really hope they can fix it. Please let me know if you get a reply as well

    I have the same problem. The "Support" told me that they had exhausted support for my issue. They went on to say that since I'm a valued customer, they will offer me a replacement if I return my old unit with 159.99 + 3 month warranty. I thought it was a joke of an offer. I haven't exhausted my search, but I have found a site that will change out the charger port for 99.99, but I'm not sure if that will completely do the trick. The "support" further said that my headset was old. Old enough to be dead!? I have 2 close friends that have 3 between them that are older than mine and theirs work just fine.
