Oculus quest 2 menu will not open due to passthrough screen

My quest 2 menu will not open. Every time I load in, I am in my virtual home, or in my passthrough. Every-time I load it up, it shows me how to use passthrough, even though Ive been using it for years. I have had my oculus for 2 years now, and I am not sure what to do. It tells me to open my menu on my left controller, but that does nothing, every time I close the tutorial screen, it opens it up again. This screen blocks me from using my menu. I have tried literally everything. Ive hard rebooted it countless times, restarted it, and powered it off. Ive turned off my wifi, and even went in a car to a different location to try it. Nothing seems to work. I have not factory reseted it yet, and I would not like to go to that point until I’ve tried everything. However, there is not much more I can do. This is only on my primary account though, Ive turned off the WiFi, and even made an alternative account just to try to fix it, but it lets me open the menu on the 2nd account. Ive also let it die to 0% and charged it back again. Anything I do doesn’t seem to work, and I need help fixing it. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I have already tried that, and I forgot to include it.

  • If it gets to the point where you have to factory reset I would suggest turning on the cloud backup if it isn’t already on and make sure all of your saves are backed up for the games that support it.

also at this point it seems like meta is starting to neglect the quest 2, I know someone who I kid you not couldn’t even select their account on their headset because every time they put it on it would just go into passthrough.

Thanks! However, every time I open my meta horizon app and go to cloud backup, it tells me to open my menu on my oculus, but I can’t. Is there a way to manage them through the app other than the cloud backup setting?
