oculus quest 2 not working or charging

Hey clownUWU! We know it can be so disappointing when you get something new and it doesn't work right. This definitely isn't the experience we want for you to have here, and we're ready to help!

When your headset is charging, the little status light on the side should turn on. We have a couple of things you can go ahead and try here to see if we can get your headset charging and working:

• Try using a different power source, such as a different power outlet.
• Try using a different charging cable.
• See if you can open the boot menu on your headset:
  • Hold the power and volume (-) button on the headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads
  • Exit and reboot the headset
  • If still unable to charge, follow these steps but select the factory reset option instead of exit and reboot.
