Oculus Quest 2 with no Sound

I have the Oculus Quest 2. Played today for a bit and put it to charge like always do. At the end of the day I wanted to play again and noticed there was absolutely no sound coming out of the headset speakers. Nothing at all. I've tried turning off for some time and back on and nothing. When I cast to my Iphone there is sound on the phone but still nothing on the headset. I don't have a PC or use Oculus link. I just use a normal cable to tranfer videos or screenshots from my OC2 to my Imac.

Any help?

Hi FilipeHenda Are you able to try connecting headphones to the headset and see if there is sound? If sound, disconnect and see if the headset speakers start working. If still no sound, try a factory reset. If you still need assistance please create a support ticket with us here. Thanks!

    Notes:

    • Performing a factory reset is irreversible and will remove all account information, downloaded games, and content from the headset.

    • Performing a factory reset won't remove content you've purchased or downloaded from your account.

  • Hi Filipe, did you manage to fix your problem? I am having the same exactly problem with the same setup as well, I have sound coming to my earpods but not from the speakers or headphone jack... did a factory reset and it didnt work, tried different headphones, different settings, nothing, the only way that I can hear anything is via bluetooth...

  • Hi.
I'd the same problem since the last update (35.0.0.141.341.339081697)
It didn't sound in the menu, in stand-alone games, or even in PC games via Air Link nor Oculus Link cable... no sounds at all.

The way I've just fixed the issue was:
1- Turn on Oculus Quest 2
2- Connect headphones via mini-jack (it made the sound starts working via headphones...)
3- Turn Off Quest 2 normally
4- Start again Oculus Quest 2 (don't just restart.. turn off and then on...)
5- When Quest menu started, just unplug headphones mini-jack, and then, magically sound is restored through Oculus Quest 2 speakers.

Maybe doing other things like plug/unplug jack headphones without restarting or other steps, may fix the problem, but in my case, those were the steps I followed, and couldn't try any other steps once the problem was fixed.

I expect to be helpful to others.
    Cheers
