Oculus Rift - Your device setup is still in progress...

Hi there!

I could not get the support to work, as it refused my Oculus Rift serial number when I entered it...

When I had installed the Meta Quest Link app on my previous computer, it did work properly, and I could enjoy the game thing inside the camping car, it was so much fun and brought me so many stars in my eyes!!

But on my new computer, first I got the message "your computer doesn't meet the requirements blablabla" and of course when I click "read more" I only get a generic page that is not useful in the slightest.

Then, whenever I try to launch "First Contact", a message shows up very briefly (less than one second) and then I return to the game list.

The message says: "Your device setup is still in progress. Please take off your headset and continue with setup on the Meta Quest Link app on your computer".

Except there is not a single message in said app that invites me to do anything more. I rebooted my computer several times: same result.

However, I could launch Steam VR, Steam games, and Meta games (e.g. Google Earth VR), and enjoy everything. I got sound, video, and the controllers work perfectly.

I don't understand what the Meta Quest Link app is waiting for...

I tried looking it up online, I tried the help of ChatGPT... Nothing works (e.g. "press tab three times because there is a button you can't see").

Can please somebody help me launch that retro caravan game?
