Oculus Rift S black screen

I have the Oculus Rift S and I purchased it in 2020. I was using last night with no issues at all, and I took a 20-minute break and when I came back to it the screen was black and nothing was working. It recognized the cables were plugged in and it could see that the sensors are working and I would even get the audio from my PC through the rift headset, but when I went to continue setup in VR it is just a black screen. I have uninstalled and re installed the meta quest app several times along with restarting my computer and even updating all drivers and other possible update my computer could have but nothing is fixing it.  When I try and contact customer support it asks me to verify my device using the serial number or email, but when I put either of those in it is unable to find my product, but I have the product in my hand and my original order email. This whole process has been quite frustrating because it stopped working in a blink of an eye and the meta support has been less than helpful. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated! 

  • Did some more research and found a forum that suggested disabling Wi-Fi before launching the link app and that did the trick. What a dog **bleep** company meta but God bless the people smarter than me that fixed it with absolutely not help from meta.  They're just going to suggest updating drivers and then if that fails get a new one. Terrible company terrible website terrible design.
