This been an ongoing issue ever since around v71 came out.
Chances are they are not going to fix it, I had already tried contacting support in the past and received no explanation or proper help.
I suggest reinstalling Meta Quest Link or changing settings in the Debug Mode of it. Not a guaranteed fix but it may help.- twinaryHonored Guest
Hey, found a fix yet? I am trying to test VR applications using PCVR through cable link but every few seconds or so the connection drops and I'm send back to main menu.

Link works fine on my Quest 3. Disable HAGS in Windows advanced graphics settings. Make sure your encode bitrate in the Link dash is not set too high. Try disabling ASW in the OculusDebugTool then restart the OVRService. Make sure you are not pulling on the cable and causing a loose connection in the USB ports. Make sure your USB cable isn't faulty.
