Permission to access files problem

Hi,

As a company, we created a tour using 3DVista for the Quest 2 for our client. We are using the Meta Horizon management service in individual mode. However, we've encountered a problem that we need some help with.

When we launch the 3Dvista application for the first time, a pop-up appears asking for permission to access files. If we grant that permission, the tour loads and works fine. However, when launching the tour a second time, it gets stuck on the loading screen. If we then disable the permission in the settings and re-enable it via the pop-up, the tour works again. So it seems the tour only loads properly when the pop-up appears and permission is explicitly granted. There’s also an option to save the preference so the pop-up doesn’t show again, but even if we disable that setting, the preference still seems to be saved. As a result, we have to manually reset the permission each time in order to trigger the pop-up and make the tour load correctly. On one occasion, we saved the preference without granting permission and then got completely stuck, we couldn’t change the setting manually anymore.

We have already been in contact with 3DVista, but they are only able to give support for standard app installation and execution. 

We’re curious to know if anyone has any ideas on how we might solve this problem.
