Problem getting extended warranty

Has anyone else had problems getting the 2 year extended warranty?

I purchased a Meta 3s online from Target and received it yesterday. I went to the Meta online to purchase the extended warranty. When I entered the Serial number a message popped up stating’This device is not eligible for additional coverage’

I contacted Meta and the representative stated she would check with her team and get back to me in 3-5 days.

    Did you use the serial number on the headset or on the box. They're different as the headset and controllers have different numbers. Try using the serial number on the box! Good luck, let's know if it works for you! 🤞🤞

      Yes , I tried both serial numbers on the box,  the headset and the bundle SN. Came up with the same message. I contacted Meta. They said they would look into it and get back to me in 3-5 days. Not holding my breath!

        Ahh OK. There's something wrong there. If they don't get back to you keep chasing them!
