Problem transfer recording from Meta Quest 3s to PC

Hi,

I recorded a session in my Meta Quest 3S that I'm trying to move to my PC for editing and use in a project but can't get it to work.

When I plug in a USB-C cable I get the prompt in the headset to allow my PC to see files and I can see it in the Explorer on my PC. When I click on the headset in the Explorer it's empty even though I can see the recording under Files in the headset.

I've tried different USB-C cables with the same result. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Patrik

Make sure your USB cable is CHARGE+DATA. Some USB cables are charge only.

Alternatively, you could upload the video to the MetaHorizon app on your phone from the Gallery app on your headset. Then in the MetaHorizon app, you can save the video to your phone. Then you should be able to transfer it from your phone to PC using a (Charge+Data capable) USB cable.

      Thanks for replying.

I've tried several different USB-C cables. One cable that, according to a colleague,  is "high end". Also tried from both ways with the same result.

The headset is set up by our organization via MDM so I dont think I can access it via the app.

      Any other ideas?

I got a hold of someone in my organization who could "unlock" the ability to connect the headset to my laptop. I could fins several folders in the explorer and eventually the recording I was looking for.

      Thanks for the help!
