Hi MetaStoreHelp ,
I’m experiencing the same Quest Link login issue as described in this topic
What I’ve tried so far:
- Manual uninstall/reinstall exactly as per your instructions:
- Disconnected Rift/Link cable
- Booted into Safe Mode and uninstalled the Meta Horizon PC app via Control Panel
- Deleted all remaining Oculus folders from:
- C:\Program Files\Oculus
- C:\Users\<MyUser>\AppData\Local
- C:\Users\<MyUser>\AppData\LocalLow
- C:\Users\<MyUser>\AppData\Roaming
- C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache
- Rebooted into normal mode, reconnected to the Internet, and reinstalled the Meta Horizon PC app
- Reinstalled on a different drive (D:\ instead of C:).
- Changed my default browser (Edge ⇄ Chrome ⇄ Firefox).
- Reset my account password and disabled two-factor authentication.
- Used a VPN (Meta is not available in my region) — tried NordVPN, ProtonVPN, Cloudflare Warp, selfhosted VLESS vpn.
- Checked the logs:
- Opened C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Oculus\Service_2025-07-30_21.49.01.txt and uploaded it here: https://pastebin.com/CKLJUPkV (password: paxkGU4iBW)
- All other files in AppData\Local\Oculus and subfolders were either empty or unrelated to the login issue.
Additional issue:
I’m unable to send you a private message because of a GraphQL error in the forum code. The browser console shows:[GraphQL error]: Message: Can't resolve '/createPrivateConversation/errors[0]'. Abstract type 'CreatePrivateNotesError' must resolve to an Object type at runtime for field '[CreatePrivateNotesError!].errors'. Could not determine the exact type of 'CreatePrivateNotesError', Operation: createPrivateConversation,errors,0 Uncaught (in promise) ApolloError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'result') at update (PrivateConversationCreationForm.tsx:447:52)
I receive this stack trace every time I click “Send a Message” on your profile.
Could you please advise:
- How to resolve the endless redirect to the language selection page when logging into Quest Link?
- How to work around or fix the bug that prevents creating a private conversation, so I can communicate with you directly?
- If private messaging remains broken, what alternative contact methods are available (e‑mail, support ticket system, etc.)?
Thank you very much for your help!
