PTC v2.1

QUEST 2 UPDATE YESTERDAY EVENING THEN SHUTDOWN 100326

STUCK IN BOOT LOOP TODAY UPON NEXT BOOT.

META OS LOGO AND PARTIAL BOOT SOUND.

TRIED POWER HARD REBOOT. TRIED POWER PLUS DOWN VOLUME OPTION FOR SHUT DOWN AND BOOT.

TRIED SIDELOAD UPDATE VIA SOFTWARE UPDATE TOOL V2.1. INSTALLED UPDATE GOT SLIGHTLY MORE OF THE START UP SOUND BUT STILL BOOT LOOP. TRIED UPDATE AGAIN BUT NOW FAILS.

HAVE NOT FACTORY RESET YET FROM POWER VOLUME BOOT MENU. 

NOT SURE WHAT SOFTWARE VERSION IT UPDATED TO BEFORE BOOT LOOP STARTED, PRESUME LATEST BUT NOT SURE IF WAS EIGHTY FOUR OR FIVE OR 2.1 AS FROM THE UPDATE TOOL.

    V2.1  (was not PTC apologies) 

    have now factory reset using power and volume options.

    auto updated to v2.1.

    everything seems to be working.

    I have done everything you did and even did a factory reset, nothing is happening still stuck on blue logo loop. The sound is fine, I can hear it. I’m letting it completely die including controllers, then I’ll try to boot it up again. When charging the light stays amber. I’m lost as to what to do. I have the Meta 3

        I completed the software update three times, on Chrome and nothing happened. I did the factory reset. Nothing happens the device is stuck on the meta logo screen. I thought maybe there wasn’t enough memory to boot the device, but the factory reset would have resolved that issue.

        I’m letting it die, meaning I’m letting the power drain completely and then try and recharge it. So far nothing I’ve done helps.
