After the latest update to v2.3, I get a whole array of problems such as a "shell error" window opening and wanting to close shell, then the whole operating system starts to lag a lot, screen tearing, controller issues, and having to keep my finger on the power button for an extended amount of time to try and force powering off.. I'm afraid at this point the quest is unusable.. Its only started since this last update.
Ok, you are on PTC version. Your device is a guinea pig for untested software. You are going to get a high number of bugs, some can be pretty bad. My advice, if you are outside of the warranty period or are in an unsupported country, be patient, stick to the official updates when they arrive. You should make bug reports through the bug reporting tool on your headset. Obviously nobody here can help with this situation. What could get your headset working is to leave the PTC program, factory reset your headset and hopefully you will go back to v2.1.
