PTC v81 Quest Pro Link connection randomly fails to establish

Since this update, randomly and intermittently...

I will try to set up a Link connection with cable, and the purple void will just come up and sit there endlessly or fail.  Or the at the settings menu, the system will simply refuse to acknowledge that there is a PC connection for me to use.

I end up having to reboot the headset and / or restart the Oculus service.

Nothing but problems for me with this update I'm afraid resulting in much wasted time and frustration.

I have now had to resort to powering down the headset when I finish a PCVR Link session and powering it up, after I've booted up the PC, when I start another.  Not ideal, but at least this way I don't get the issue.

"It looks like you have resolved the issue".  Does it?  I meant it to "look like" I have put in place a rather inconvenient workaround, not a resolution.

"we would also recommend you to remove yourself from the PTC program to see if this fixes your issue"  How would this fix my issue if it is impossible to revert to the previous version?

Thank you, anyway, for your standard form reply (AI inspired, perhaps?).  It looks like you think it might be useful.
