hello, i have a quest 1 (i know its old) and i tried to factory reset it after it stopped wanting to connect to my link app (worked 2 times before) and now i can get all the way to the page were i connect to wifi, then after that my headset gets stuck on update 1 of 2 compleate continue in meta horizon app, and then my phone cant get further than the safety/security page

It won't work with the latest version of the Horizon app. You'll need an older version of the app.
The solution at the following link describes what you need to do. It includes a link to a working version of the app (at the time when it was posted).
Maybe you must try more than one version to make it work.

thanks, that got me to finish the update, but my airlink still lets me press on my pc, press pair, and then nothing happens
Air link doesn't work with the Quest 1.
You must either connect the headset with a cable to pc for using the Meta link app or
you use Virtual desktop for wireless connection and streaming to your Quest.
