Quest 2 bootloop after factory reset when trying to fix a another issue

Ok to begin with, this is my brothers Quest 2 and the issue started with the pin login, where he couldnt login at all due to the controllers not being picked up by the headset AND the headset itself not tracking, i tried to reboot it multiple times before to no avail, which lead me to factory resetting it.

Now it's stuck in an bootloop.
I've used the Meta Quest Software Update tool to try to fix it, which it did not manage, it is still stuck in an bootloop and now im trying to drain its battery and refill it in hopes it will fix it, and i doubt it will.

Any help would be appreciated.
