Quest 2 displays for a couple seconds then goes black.

Hi im having issues with my quest 2 headset. Displays boot up logo and recovery menu with no issues. When it completely boots up it goes black.flashes the menu intermittently then stays black. I already changed proximity sensor but same result. Thinking bad camera?? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated thank you.

    Hey manny12051988, thanks for reaching out! A black screen can mean a few different things, but not to worry, we have some troubleshooting for you to try.
     

    First, you will find some steps here to check that the cable is good to go and your PC settings are correct. After this move on to the hard reboot; 

     

    To do this:

     

    - Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound

      If the boot-up sound is not heard:

    - Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.

    - Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.

    - Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

     

    Finally, if the hard reboot fails, try our easy-to-use software update tool

  • Thanks for reaching out so quickly. I already completed those steps.updated software through pc and did reset same issue.
