Quest 2 menu stops responsive from controllers

Hello,

My quest 2 menu suddenly stops responsive from A nor X button clicking on controllers. I can see the controllers as well as the white lines and pointers on screens in the headset. Only the joystick can move menu up and down and the center button works too. I did a factory reset and restarted the headset. I replaced with new batteries on the controllers. I was able to set up the WIFI with the controllers and pair the controller with the headset. The setup process works and next/continue buttons responsive until the define privacy page. I have repeated the factory reset and restart twice but encountered the same problem. Any idea? Is it a fixable software issue or a non-fixable hardware issue? Thanks.

Try toggling off all the Experimental Settings and also hand-tracking in your headset. Now unpair your controllers using the phone app. Remove the batteries from the controllers for 5 minutes then put them back in. Now re-pair the controllers using the phone app. After successful pairing, press and hold the power button on the headset for 20 seconds to power it off. Restart the headset and check if the controllers are fully working again. You should now be able to turn hand tracking and the Experimental Settings back on.

Hello Steve_40, thanks for the quick reply. How do I toggle off all the experimental settings and hand-tracking in my headset? I have already factory reset the headset twice and my controller clicks work in the beginning of the re-setup process like setting up the WIFI and pairing with the phone app. The controller click fails at the defining privacy page. The Next button on the screen becomes unresponsive no matter how many times I click with the controller A button or X button. So at this point I have no control of the headset. Thanks.
