Quest 2 Right Speaker Not Working

The right speaker on my quest 2 stopped working. Bluetooth and wired headphones still work. I have no reason to believe there is physical damage to the headset so I wanted to ask here to see if anyone had a fix before I take it somewhere for repairs.

I have tried:

  • Adjusting audio balance in the accessibilities menu
  • Turning it off and back on
  • Downloading the latest software update
  • Factory resetting the device

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we understand that you are having an issue with the left speaker on your Meta Quest 2 and we're happy to help! First, we just have steps for you to try to help fix the issue. Can you please: 

     

    • Ensure the volume is not muted or turned down too low
    • Try headphones to see if there is audio
    • Test with multiple games/apps
    • Reboot the headset

    If after trying these steps, you are still experiencing the issue, please let us know.
