quest 2 shows logo, goes into passthrough for about 1 sec, grey screen then goes into sleep mode.
i have reinstalled the software, factory reset, and checked the proximity sensor but nothing changed. fully charging it also does nothing

Try covering the sensor with non-transparent tape and setting it to manual standby.
