Quest 2 stuck in logo flash and no charging indicator

Hi! I have had my Quest 2 sitting in its box for a few years, recently tried using it for the holidays and when i plugged it in to charge, I didn't see any LED light on the device indicating it was getting any charge. I let it charge overnight and still didn't see any improvement. While plugged in, if i put it on, the headset has an all black screen then flashes the oculus logo over and over again. I've tried holding the power button, holding the power button and volume down to try and reset and nothing is working. 

Is there anything I can do to fix and use this hardware ever again?

    If you don't charge a battery for a long time, there is a good chance that it's not recoverable but try blip charging it. That means repeatedly pulling out the plug and putting it back in again quickly. A few seconds in, a few seconds out. This has been known to bring a battery back to life. However the chances are low. If you can get it to charge and connect to your WiFi software updates might get it working. If you can, you can also find a 3rd party repairer like Fix My Oculus who can diagnose it and replace the battery if necessary. Will be cheaper than a new headset. Good luck! I hope you can save it. 🤞
