turned on my oculus to see a "meta horizon social has stopped working" prompt that wouldn't go away, so I restarted my headset. Now the headset is stuck on a black screen with that same prompt, except I cannot connect my controllers to the headset to get rid of it, so every time I restart my headset it is stuck on that same screen no matter what after the startup.
Despa1r Try factory reseting the headset to see if that clears the issue.
You can do what oculuness suggested and do a factory reset or you can bring it to a company that can repair your vr or take a look at it like Best Buy. Or you can contact meta via a direct chat On there support page and they can provide there support. I hope this helps have a good day.
Without connected controllers, when booting up the headset, you might be able to use the volume +/- buttons to navigate the menu, then press the power/action button to select the option to cancel the message. Also, possibly, if you wait 2 or 3 minutes, the message might time out and go away by itself, but no guarantee.
