Quest 2 Video Player Removed VR Projection Feature

There is no option at all to choose the projection mode when playing a video in the native video player anymore. No 3D, 180, 360, nothing, just 2D. What happened? Why did Meta remove this feature from the video player? What is the point of having a VR Headset if I can't watch my VR videos in VR mode? I have already updated it and nothing changed. Some people are compaining about this in Reddit and even a Quest 3 user was complaining about it. What is the point of this?
