Quest 3 battery goes from 100% to 70% in 7 hours while OFF

I've observed that when I leave my headset off (full power-down) and not charging, that the battery will drain overnight from 100% down to ≈ 70% in the span of 6 or 7 hours.

"Automatically power headset to update" is TURNED OFF (not enabled).   The device should not be powering on to update, but the power drain is unmistakable.  Surface of the headset does not feel noticeably warm to the touch.

Anyone else noticing this?   I'm on V 79.1032 and only recently noticed this behavior.

Hello there nukeboyt, we understand that you are having issues with the battery draining quickly overnight. We notice that your device is on the latest software vesion, and have looked into some solutions below that can be helpful to your issue:

    1. Maximise battery life
Like all lithium-ion batteries, Meta batteries age and lose capacity over time and with usage. For good battery lifetime capacity, we recommend using your device until the battery level is below 50% before recharging. If you need to store your device for a long time without use, we recommend leaving the battery charged to about 50% and keeping the device at room temperature. Avoid storing your device in hot or cold environments.

    2. Use the provided charger
When charging your Meta Quest headset, use the charger that was included in the box. While you may be able to charge your headset's battery with chargers from other devices, your headset and its included charger were designed and tested to work optimally together and to maximise the performance of your headset.

If you're having trouble with getting your charger to fit correctly in a wall outlet, you may need to adjust the position of the grounding pin.

    3. Keep the magnetic pins clean
The magnetic pins on the charging dock must be dry to avoid damage to the headset, controllers and charging dock. Use a dry cloth to wipe away any moisture on the magnetic pins.

Hello from sunny Kos, Greece ! I'm doing a test as per Meta advice right now.  Just stored away my Quest with around 60%  charge and holidaying on the Greek islands for the next 10 days and will check what my battery charge is then.  It's a quite new Quest 3s so I don't expect it to lose that much charge as if the battery is full when I stop using it, the next day it's still full. Meta batteries are worked very hard. A similar size mobile phone battery will last a full day on one charge whereas the Quest will only last 2 hours so it's life will end far faster than a mobile battery. It would be nice and also environmentally better if we could have user replaceable batteries in the Quest one day.

Thanks.  The problem still exists, but I'm hoping that a forum users will offer meaningful suggestions, rather than a "copy-paste" solution based on the post containing word 'battery'.
